2. Johnathan Hankins NT

This probably won’t happen now because of the Sly Williams contract, but Hankins would be the perfect player for this Tennessee Titans defense.

He is a strong nose tackle that can anchor a defensive line and play 1-tech capably if you shift to a 4-3 defense during sub packages.

When I say that he can slide into a 1-tech and rush on 3rd down rush packages, I know this to be a fact because he had 7 sacks in his last full season as a starter.

Again, age is very important to Jon Robinson so the fact that he is 24 (he will be 25 at the start of the season) is huge. You could sign him to an 4-5 year deal worth $8 million per year and still have a chance to sign him to a solid extension at any point.

I know this deal won’t get done and it makes me angry, but there is only one player out there that I think could be more valuable to this defense immediately.
