Wide Receivers and Tight Ends

Vincent Jackson WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

-Jackson is a great target, but he is coming off of his worst season since 2007 and he is 33. So, Jackson could be a very attractive player in a trade scenario especially since the Bucs are in a prime situation to take the top wide receiver at 9th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Pierre Garcon WR, Washington Redskins

-Garcon had another very good year, but he just doesn’t look like he will ever be a number one. However, he could be a great #2 in the mold of Anquan Boldin as he enters his 30s this season. A contender or a team looking for leadership could make a play for him.

**Josh Gordon WR, Cleveland Browns

-There is a lot of talk about Gordon lately, but people forget that he is one of the best receivers in the NFL when he is on the field. Will he ever get his act together and play again, I don’t know. However, there are a lot of GMs in this league with a lot of slack that believe that they could turn him around. If the Browns are willing to take a mid round pick for him or less, then Gordon could be a huge get for a team either this year or next year.

Overview:

I think Jackson would be very interesting in Tennessee. Jon Robinson knows exactly what he is worth and he wouldn’t get hardball-ed by Jason Licht in Tampa Bay given their previous relationship. If he could give up fair value for him I think he could be interesting for the next two years and Tampa Bay could get some cap off the books to make some moves for the future themselves.
