The 2016 NFL Draft is just over two weeks away at this point and the smoke screens are in full effect. A lot of them have to do with trades into and out of the top 10 in this draft based on who is lying (the Cleveland Browns) and who is suspiciously quiet despite rumors (the New York Jets and L.A. Rams).

While all of those rumors are fun when you talk about what the asking price may be, the most intriguing thing is which current NFL players could be moved in a trade. So, Over the Cap’s list of 2017 NFL Free agents, I decided to compile a list of players who could be moved.

Now read this because it is important. This is only a list of players who could be moved based on salary next year, the current position they are in, the player they will replace, or a regime change that may bring in a scheme change on offense or defense.

This list is NOT a list of players that necessarily make sense for the Tennessee Titans, it is a list of players that could be moved. The point of this is to use this to sift through the rumors to see which players could be moved.

For example, Drew Brees could be moved to the San Francisco 49ers to get their 7th overall pick. Why does this matter? Because they could then package both of their 1st round picks to trade up with the Tennessee Titans to get Carson Wentz if they really like him.

So just because he doesn’t make sense for the Titans doesn’t mean that it doesn’t matter to them indirectly.
