#5 History repeats itself for Delanie Walker

Delanie Walker has been a model of consistency and productivity since joining the Titans in 2013, and in 2014, he had a season for the record books.

Walker led the team in receptions (63) and yards (890), and in the process, he broke legendary tight end Frank Wycheck‘s franchise record for yards in a season by a tight end.

A record that stood for 14 years.

In 2015, Walker took his game to another level. And in the process, he took aim at history yet again.

With one game left to play, Walker has already surpassed his 2014 franchise best 890 receiving yards. At 996, he looks to capture the first 1,000 yard season of his career this Sunday in Indianapolis.

With 85 receptions, Walker has obliterated his total from last season, breaking Frank Wycheck‘s all time franchise record of 70 in one season.

A record that stood for 16 years.

An obvious Pro Bowl snub, Delanie Walker‘s history making ascent has definitely been a positive storyline for the Titans in 2015.
