Player: Muhammad Wilkerson DL, New York Jets

How much he will ask: $14.5 million per year

How likely is he to hit free agency: Pretty likely

The New York Jets have some issues on that team with depth, but that does not pertain to the offensive line. With Leonard Williams looking like a pretty good pick, it makes a lot of sense for them to let the high price free agent go and feature Williams.

Is he a fit for the Titans: Yes

He is the prototypical 3-4 DL, even more so than J.J. Watt. While Watt is successful lining up against a team’s worst offensive lineman and taking advantage, Wilkerson isn’t afraid of a challenge and can take on your team’s best OL and win consistently.

Is he a need for the Titans: Not really

Before the season I would have said absolutely, however now it is anything but an issue. Angelo Blackson and DaQuan Jones both look like they could be really good on this line next year. Blackson is more of a nose tackle, Jones is an ideal 3-4 DE that is making a lot of progress towards becoming a pretty good option at that position.

With one more year under LeBeau I could see a smart GM sticking with young talent instead of spending a ton of money on a big guy.
