Player: Von Miller EDGE, Denver Broncos
How much he will ask: $17 million per year
How likely is he to hit free agency: Almost impossible
Is he a fit for the Titans: Yes
The Tennessee Titans run a 3-4 with some 4-3 sub elements. Von Miller was locked in an odd 3-4/4-3 hybrid defense for the majority of his career. However, Wade Phillips has shown what he can actually be in a well schemed defense.
In Tennessee he, Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo would be a three headed monster that would be almost unparalleled in the league. They could also run a sub package with Morgan and Orakpo as edge rushers, and Von Miller as a moving 4-3 linebacker who could rush in certain situations.
Is he a need for the Titans: Not really
While he is a great player, it is hard to call him a need the Titans are already very good with their starters. On top of that, David Bass has really come along as an above average backup. Throw in the injured rookie Deiontrez Mount who showed promise and you already have some interesting pieces.
Is he worth the money? Yes. Is he going to be someone they jump to pay while missing out on other players, I doubt it.
