Draft pick

1. Tennessee Titans

-The Titans currently have a 2-8 record, and probably will only manage one more win all season. That virtually guarantees them a top five pick. Since they have a franchise QB already they can focus on getting an elite offensive tackle to help the running and passing game.

If they want to go pure value, then Joey Bosa has been absolutely dominant as a pass rusher this year. The best comparison I have seen from him is Michael Strahan which is perfect because he is devastating against the run and the pass.

2. Cleveland Browns

-The Browns also have a 2-8 record right now, and they are the odds on favorite to get the first pick (barely ahead of the Titans). However, you are pretty much locked into drafting a QB there, so I hope you like this class.

3. New Orleans Saints (maybe)

-The Saints are 4-6 and will pick 8th or 9th in the draft which not only isn’t good enough to get a quality QB to groom, but it really takes you away from any of the blue-chip players. You are almost forced to go after a wide receiver or edge rusher with issues off the field if you pick there and want value.

4. Miami Dolphins

-The Dolphins are one of 13 teams with 4 wins right now and could pick anywhere from just out of the top-5, to just around 20. That isn’t great.

5. Detroit Lions

-The Lions are another team with a chance to the first overall pick, and they could actually use it for value like the Titans.
