Round 1: Joey Bosa DE, Ohio State

Why the Tennessee Titans should draft Joey Bosa:

-This is the player you have to take if he falls to you when it is your turn to pick. There is a lot of speculation that the Cleveland Browns or Baltimore Ravens could end up with this pick, and I don’t argue with that.

However, if the Titans lose out (which sadly could happen) and the Ravens and Browns split, then this team would likely end up with the first overall pick.

If you draft #1 you have to get the best player in the draft, and there is no one better than Joey Bosa. He can be an elite edge rusher in the NFL and draws rightful comparisons to J.J. Watt. He is flexible and can play all over the defensive line to get the matchups that you want to make him successful.

Imagine a lineup where from left to right you have: Derrick Morgan, Jurrell Casey, Joey Bosa, and Brian Orakpo. That sub package on third and long would be lethal and it would turn this good defense into an elite defense.

Why the Tennessee Titans might draft someone else:

This team doesn’t need another edge rusher, and if they are going by need they could draft someone like Laremy Tunsil to protect Marcus Mariota, or Vernon Hargreaves III to make splash plays in the back end of that defense.
