The Tennessee Titans currently hold the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Despite having one of the top-five defenses in the league statistically, and a franchise quarterback this team is in trouble. The Titans aren’t favored in the game on Thursday and if they lose that game it is hard to imagine them being favored in another game this year.
This team lost to a flailing Miami Dolphins team and the team that currently holds the number one overall pick: the Cleveland Browns. Since the coaching change they did manage a win over the spiraling New Orleans Saints, and they kept it close against the undefeated Panthers for most of the game, but in the end I don’t see how this season translates into anything better than a top-five pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
So, with that being said let’s take a look at just where the Titans might go in that draft with their 8 picks. I used Draft Tek’s 2016 Big Board as a template for which players should be available at the top of every round.
