The latest Tennessee Titans news links on Monday, Nov. 24th, 2014.

Eagles Fly Past Titans

"Josh Huff returned the opening kickoff 107 yards for a touchdown and LeSean McCoy ran for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ 43-24 win over the Titans."

Tennessee Titans are ranked 28th in rushing yards and 32nd in opponent rushing yards

"Those stats should piss you off."

Playing time: Brandon Ghee used a lot

"Brandon Ghee, who joined the team Oct. 8, played in the four previous games, but his work was almost exclusively on special teams.Ghee’s time on defense with the Titans amounted to two snaps on defense Nov. 17 against Pittsburgh. With Blidi Wreh-Wilson out with a bad back, Coty Sensabaugh shifted into the starting role and Ghee played 70 of 87 snaps for the Titans, who played a great deal of nickel and dime.He made two tackles and made an interception that set the Titans up for their first touchdown that cut the score to 17-7."

Back from concussion, Delanie Walker unafraid to use his head

"The Titans got a huge game from Delanie Walker as he returned from the concussion he suffered Nov. 9 in Baltimore that kept him out of the Monday night game against Pittsburgh. Walker had 155 yards, a Titans season high, on just five catches, besting his 142 yards, on 10 catches, against Dallas on Sept. 15.His 68-yard catch and run showed off his speed, and he did well stiff-arming linebacker Emmanuel Acho to gain more ground.Later, with the Eagles well aware he’d seek to stiff-arm, safety Malcolm Jenkins tried to avoid it. Walker wasn’t thinking about his concussion, he was thinking about space, and he basically head-butted the defender as he ran."

Titans are so bad we can’t look away

"Local TV ratings continue to confirm what I already suspected:As bad as it is, we just can’t help ourselves. Like an automobile crash on the side of the road, we can’t turn away. We still stop what we’re doing to assess the carnage created by the latest Titans derailment.Sunday was more of the same. The Titans fell behind Philadelphia 17-0 at the outset, made things mildly interesting and then limped away with a 43-24 loss, their ninth in the last 10 games.Only two NFL teams — Oakland and Jacksonville — have fewer wins this season than the Titans, who are now 2-9. And both of those teams have won games more recently than the Titans."

Titans’ Zach Mettenberger shows promise amid mistakes

"In a season full of disappointment for the Titans, rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger continued to offer at least some hope for a brighter future on Sunday. He was far from perfect in the 43-24 loss to the Eagles — hampered by a slow start, a habit of holding on to the football too long and an interception."

Odell Beckham Jr. makes the greatest NFL catch ever

"No, seriously. It was that damn good."
