If there is one position that you would like to see the Tennessee Titans improve on in the 2015 NFL Draft, which position would that be?

It seems as though Titans fans feel the Jake Locker era has run it’s course. Even after the second game of the season, many were screaming for Zach Mettenberger. Now, one Titans fan has gone to the extreme of making a new Twitter campaign in favor of replacing Locker with arguably the top quarterback in college football, Marcus Mariota. Mariota is Oregon’s starting quarterback, who is currently on the Heisman Trophy Watchlist. Mariota is projected to go as high as the overall number one pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

The campaign is driven with the use of the hashtag: #SuckForTheDuck, and is managed by the Twitter handle @Suck4TheDuck. The campaign was decide to support the Tennessee Titans in finishing dead last this season, so they can obtain the first pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, which would imply to select Marcus Mariota. This campaign is similar to a campaign Colt fans started a few seasons ago, #SuckForLuck. Well, the Colts’ campaign for Andrew Luck was successful, as they finished last and acquired Luck. Now, the Colts have recently taken over first place in AFC South, by the hand of Luck, who is looking to establish his own legacy in the cathedral Peyton Manning built.
Mariota carried a 31:4 TD/INT ratio last season, and threw for over 3,600 yards. This season, Mariota is on track to improve on those phenomenal stats. Through five games, Mariota has thrown for 1,411 yards, has 15 touchdown passes, and zero interceptions. So, it is easy to why there is so much hype surrounding the Duck’s star quarterback.
If the Titans continue their current path this season, there is no question they will be given the first pick after finishing last in the league. If the Titans do get the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, do you think they should go after Mariota?
