One other area on defense where the Titans could look to land a premiere prospect could be the defensive line as they settle into their new scheme. Notre Dame’s Stephon Tuitt is one guy that would be an excellent addition to the d-line, but would arguably be a reach at #11 overall and may not last to round two. Still, the defensive line in general needs some depth, so the Titans can be expected to add a body or two at some point in the draft.

These certainly aren’t the only defensive players the Titans should consider during the 2014 NFL Draft, but they absolutely represent Tennessee’s biggest needs and are players that could be on their radar. One way or another, the Titans need to find a way to both improve their defense and also find guys that will be good fits for their new system. Taking a look at the five guys listed above would be a good place to start.
