Round 4: Stephen Tulloch (2006)

Longevity is the reason that Tulloch receives the advantage over Alterraun Verner. If Verner re-signs and continues to play anywhere near the level he played in 2013, then he’ll eclipse Stephen Tulloch.

Tulloch spent his first five seasons (2006-10) with Tennessee before joining Jim Schwartz with the Detroit Lions (2011-present). Tulloch’s best season came in 2010: 160 tackles with six pass deflections and an interception.

Other Defensive Picks: Pratt Lyons (1997), Joe Salave’a (1998), Brad Ware (1999), Donald Mitchell (1999), Bobby Myers (2000), Peter Sirmon (2000), Mike Echols (2002), Tony Beckham (2002), Rocky Boiman (2002), Rien Long (2003), Bo Schobel (2004), Michael Waddell (2004), Vincent Fuller (2005), Calvin Lowry (2006),  William Hayes (2008), Stanford Keglar (2008), Gerald McRath (2009), Alterraun Verner (2010), Colin McCarthy (2011), Coty Sensabaugh (2012), Brian Schwenke (2013)
