It is more than officially mock draft season, as the 2013 NFL season is almost fully wrapped up. The Super Bowl is all that’s left, but for many teams their seasons have been over for a while. As soon as those teams’ hopes and dreams were shattered, they began to look forward to the draft. The draft provides hope, at times a false one. But for fans, hope is the drive that keeps them going, and this year will be no different.

Determining what teams will do in the draft is perhaps the most inexact science that will ever come about in regards to professional football. We have no idea what teams are thinking about, or what constitutes them to draft a certain player. There is also the aspect of trades, which happen every year and have become more prevalent in recent times.

That being said, this mini 2014 NFL mock draft will not explore trade options and will attempt to decipher what the teams picking in the top ten (plus the Tennessee Titans) might do come draft day.
