Knowshon Moreno, RB, Denver Broncos
Knowshon was one of my favorite college football players when he was alongside Matthew Stafford and AJ Green at Georgia. After struggling to live up to his first-round hype in his first few seasons, Moreno broke out this year as the starter in the Peyton Manning-led offense. He showed this season why he was so highly coveted coming out of college, with good lateral agility and sneaky running power. He’s also very good in the screen game and is a willing, and good, blocker in pass protection. It’s also a plus that he is feisty and emotional about football, as can be seen by his infamous pre-game tears.
That’s the kind of guy I want on my team, and with Montee Ball’s role growing larger for the Broncos, it’s possible that they would be willing to let Moreno go if the asking price is beyond their liking.
