Week 15 concludes interconference play for the Tennessee Titans (5-8). With a 1-2 record against NFC West teams, the Titans will look to insert a major blow into the playoff hopes of the visiting Arizona Cardinals (8-5). The Cardinals are one game behind the San Francisco 49ers (9-4) and Carolina Panthers (9-4) for that sixth and final playoff berth in a loaded NFC.
The Titans aren’t mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, although they’d need a lot of help. Not helping matters was a San Diego Chargers upset of the Denver Broncos. These last three games are important for Mike Munchak and his coaching staff. They’ll determine whether Munchak gets another shot at getting this team into the postseason in 2014.
