Joshua: The World Series ends on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week. ESPN.com news services had this tidbit in their recap for the Seahawks vs Rams contest:

"***The World Series no doubt contributed to the stale atmosphere inside the Edward Jones Dome, where the announced crowd of 55,966 was in reality much smaller. Many of the fans who did show up wore Cardinals gear, and Red Sox-Cardinals highlights were shown on the big screen.***"

Rams vs Titans will occur 3-4 days after this event ends. Do you feel like the emotions or energy from that spectacle could bleed over into this matchup? Would a Cardinals loss have a negative effect on the crowd energy? Would a Cardinals win energize this crowd and team to do better against Tennessee?

Nathan: Sadly, the St. Louis Rams ineptitude has deteriorated the weekly attendance numbers, which had been relatively high coming into this season after some progress in 2012. Should the Cardinals take two in Boston, the crowd in the Edwards Jones Dome may pick up a bit. However, realistically, with there being so much time between to the two games, it will likely have little-to-no effect on the “energy” in the stadium.
