Sit’ Em

Sep 29, 2013; Kansas City, MO, USA; New York Giants strong safety Antrel Rolle (26) misses a tackle as Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe (82) scores a touchdown during the second half at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs won 31-7. Mandatory Credit: Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Justin: Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers
If you drafted Kaepernick to be your starting quarterback this year, aside from Week 1, odds are you’re fairly disappointed. I don’t expect that to change this week. The designed runs are not being called the way they were last season and he hasn’t looked great as a pocket passer. I expect Kaepernick to rebound at some point this season, but not this week against the Houston Texans.

David: Daryl Richardson, RB, St. Louis Rams
The Jags certainly are not a formidable opponent, but Richardson has proved to be a complete bust in 2013. In some leagues he was drafted as high as the third round (crazy), but he hasn’t produced more than 63 yards in any game thus far. Now he appears to be in jeopardy of losing his starting job, even going as far to Tweet about his playing status in this week’s contest. Pead, Stacy, or Cunningham will probably be the best option moving forward, so it may be time to finally cut ties with this over-hyped prospect.

Matt: Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Up to this point Bowe has had a few okay games.  Last week he got a garbage touchdown late that saved his day.  This week he will be going up against either Jason McCourty or Alterraun Verner, which is not good news for Bowe owners.  Sit him in all formats, I just don’t think this Kansas City Chiefs offense will do good against this surprising Tennessee Titans defense.  If you check out the Chiefs schedule they’ve had a cake walk so far and now we will see how they fair against real competition.
