Sit’ Em

Sep 15, 2013; Baltimore, MD, USA; Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson (33) runs for a gain before being tackled by Baltimore Ravens linebacker Josh Bynes (56) at M

Justin: Philip Rivers @ Tennessee Titans
I’m not buying that Rivers will keep up this hot streak of fantasy superstardom. The Titans pass rush is going to get the Rivers and keep him running all day. I expect multiple turnovers from Rivers this week, even if it is mixed in with a few touchdowns.

David: Trent Richardson @ San Francisco 49ers
Wednesday’s blockbuster trade of Richardson to the Colts for a first-rounder sent shock waves through the NFL. The Colts are making a statement about playing to win now, while the Browns are admitting that the rebuilding process is still very much alive. The trade certainly improves Richardson’s long-term value, but this week he must face a stout 49ers defense that will look to bounce back from a bad loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He will also experience a few growing pains while learning the new offense, but the learning curve is certainly not as steep for running backs as other positions.

Matt: Cecil Shorts @ Seattle Seahawks
Going up against Richard Sherman is no picnic.  I don’t expect the Jaguars to score many points in this one so if you have Cecil in a PPR he might be fine.  For a standard league I wouldn’t expect anything over five points.  He is the only person on the Jaguars I would play right now, but this Sunday he is a no go.
