Week 1 was a great week for all of our Titan Sized staff members in the Tennessee Titans pick’em project. Four of six writers picked the Titans to upset the Pittsburgh Steelers. The other two “haters” (Joshua Huffman, Nicholas Pitakos) had no problem seeing their undefeated record come to an end at Week 1. Titans won and that’s all that matters.

One of our writers had to step out of the competition because of other life commitments. That leaves five of us. Staff members who are included in this project include the editor, lead columnist, a staff writer and two contributors. They’re ready to make their Week 2 predictions about the upcoming game against the Houston Texans. Will they show the same type of confidence in this matchup as they did when betting against the Steelers’ 10-game home-opener winning streak?

Check out the standings from our current contestants:

The following are the Titan Sized staff’s predictions and evaluations for the upcoming Titans vs. Texans matchup that’s scheduled for Sep. 15. The editor (Joshua Huffman) posts his picks and complete Titans vs. Texans evaluation in a separate article. Check out his Week 2 analysis here.

We’re also adding a “Titan Sized Community” entrant. At the end of each article, readers will have a chance to vote on who they think will win that upcoming matchup. Whichever team receives the most votes will serve as the community’s pick. Since I didn’t give the community this option for Week 1, they’re automatically getting a win. Most Titans fans I had talked to appeared optimistic about their chances, anyway.
