Just like every other NFL team, the Titans’ season can go down the drain with a single costly injury. Locker, Britt and Colin McCarthy have all sustained injuries that derailed the team in the last few years. Luckily, Chris Johnson has never missed a game due to injury in his five-year career, but running back is a notoriously injury-prone position. If he or any of the team’s other key playmakers find themselves on injured reserve this season, the Titan’s post season outlook will be bleak.

However, if the Titans stay healthy, Britt emerges as a dominant receiver, Shonn Greene plays within his role, the defensive backs step up and Jake Locker is a consistently proficient passer, there will be a perfect storm in Nashville for Tennessee’s return to the playoffs.
