Black & Teal editor Daniel Lago gave his fan observations about the Jacksonville Jaguars falling to 0-3 following a 31-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Lago expressed excitement over the future receiver duo of Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III. Lago points out that the second- and third-team units have struggled throughout the preseason. The defense continues to make encouraging strides with first-year head coach Gus Bradley.
One player to keep an eye on: running back Jordan Todman. Todman finished the game with eight carries for 105 yards. That includes a 63-yard touchdown run.
The Jaguars open their season with a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Last season, both teams finished with NFL-worst 2-14 records. They used their top draft picks on offensive tackles.
