Indianapolis Colts 27, Cleveland Browns 6
Andrew Luck received some extended playing time against a previously unbeaten Cleveland Browns team. Luck went 16-of-25 for 164 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Caesar Rayford had another strong performance with two sacks. He leads the team with five preseason sacks. It was the second consecutive game where the Colts defense surrendered zero touchdowns.
Players and coaches have responded to Jim Irsay’s plea for better play. Will that carryover into the regular season? The Colts have a favorable opening schedule with home games against the Oakland Raiders (Sep. 8) and Miami Dolphins (Sep. 15).
