Nashville, TENN., (February 21, 2012) – Join the fun as Tennessee Titans Place Kicker and Tournament Co-Host Rob Bironas hits the golf course with many of his teammates during the 2012 Christmas 4 Kids Golf Tournament to be held onApril 10, 2012 at the Pine Creek Golf Course (1835 Logue Road, Mount Juliet, TN). Titans teammates already planning to come out to the event include Jake Locker (quarterback), Marc Marini (wide receiver), Craig Stevens (tight end), Brett Kern(punter), Ken Amato (linebacker and long snapper), Craig Hentrich (retired punter and kicker) and Colin McCarthy (middle linebacker). On this day, fans will have the unique opportunity to play golf with their favorite music or sports celebrities. Funds from this event will help provide a Christmas to Middle Tennessee children who otherwise would not be able to experience this gift of giving. “I learned first-hand about the Christmas 4 Kids organization about five or six years ago through the Charlie Daniels and friends concerts, but this is my first year to co-host an event and work first hand with the organization,” said Bironas. “I’m excited to spend a fun day on the golf course with my Titans buddies because I know it will help put a smile on the faces of children. For many of the kids it will be the first opportunity they’ve ever had to buy presents for their friends and family.”

For over twenty years, Christmas 4 Kids has been providing children in the Middle Tennessee area with this unique opportunity to experience Christmas in a new way. Last year, Christmas 4 Kids was able to give 450 children in the Middle Tennessee area a ride on a celebrity tour bus, a party with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the chance to buy presents for their friends and family at a local Wal-Mart. Proceeds from the 2012 Celebrity Golf Tournament and other events throughout the year will go to make this reality again in December 2012.
