The Start of a New Era

I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more football!

If you’re anything like me, you need football in your life all year long. Here at Titan Sized we will do our best to feed your addiction with year-round Titans coverage. I’m talking in-season, off-season, draft-season, the dead zone…. and you know what? If there is no football in 2011 due to the Lockout, we’ll give you articles, columns, speculation, news, and everything else anyway. If we have no football and we are bored enough, I might even write a narrative. Let’s hope we don’t find ourselves that starved from football.

There’s going to be a few changes coming to the site.

First, I’ll be taking over as ‘Lead Writer’ here at Titan Sized. To tell you a little bit about myself, I’ve been watching football since I was in diapers and the only that’s changed since, is the lack of diapers, though they may sneak back into my life in about 50 years. I’ve been an avid Jaguars fan my entire life and in the last few years I got into the game of football even more than following my favorite team. I would watch the Raiders just to see how certain linemen that I was following would perform. I would tune into a Seahawks game to see how the backup WR’s were playing. The biggest storyline of the last few years, to me, has been quarterbacks. Not only are they always the proverbial “face” of the organization, but they have the ability to impact the game more than any other player. Expect some backwards-glancing articles on Vince Young and how he was really growing at the end. There will be articles on Kerry Collins as well as articles of praise for the Titans taking the ultimate risk in the NFL today by selecting a quarterback in the top-10 of the draft. Secondly, we will be adding a ‘draft’ section to the site. You can expect extensive draft articles analyzing how the Titans new class fits in to the current team and how the last few classes look to be filling roles.

More writers are on the way to give you an even more extensive look at the Titans and the NFL in general and with the NFL Lockout an ongoing event with no end in sight, we hope to fill the void. I hope you enjoy the new site!
