Joshua: Legendary Titans/Oilers owner Bud Adams passed away on Oct. 21, 2013. While that doesn’t mean as much to Rams fans, it’s worth noting all of the connections that St. Louis has with Tennessee Titans. Some of the main ones include Jeff Fisher, Cortland Finnegan, William Hayes, Jared Cook, Will Witherspoon, Chuck Cecil, Dave McGinnis, Ray Sherman and Frank Bush.

Titans fans often joke that there’s a pipeline from Tennessee to St. Louis. Will that connection between these two teams serve as a motivating factor for St. Louis?

Nathan: Jeff Fisher half-heartedly addressed that on Tuesday, referencing there still being “16 players” on the roster from when he left Tennessee. However, with this being a short week for the Rams, and the coaching staff being renowned for their professionalism, I doubt the thought is anywhere but in the back of their minds.

If anyone were to get a “boost,” it may be Jared Cook, who has verbalized on numerous occasions that he felt under-utilized in the Titans’ offense. However, Cook has been nothing short of average since Week 1, and will likely not get too many opportunities to take out that “rage” with Kellen Clemens throwing the ball.
