A few days ago, Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey had some big words for the media. It seems Casey isn’t shy at talking the talk because he feels like he can walk the walk.

The former third-round pick from University of Southern California has been living up to his expectations and he’s only getting better. He has said to the media that he believes in this defensive line unit and that if the line plays well the Titans can win all 16 games this upcoming season.

Of course you love to hear that confidence out of one of your players especially Casey. Casey is slowly turning into one of the Titans’ best defensive players if not the best. Going into his third season, Casey has a total of (106) tackles and (5.5) sacks.

When asked by the media about the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Casey had some fine words. One reporter asked Casey how hard it is to take down Roethlisberger. Casey replied “He’s a big body you gotta have things up your sleeve to get the job done.” He then reminded the reporter that his first career sack was against Roethlisberger in his rookie season.

When asked more about Roethlisberger, Casey stated “Big Ben here I come for you.” (titansonline.com) Casey was then asked about the game this Sunday at Pittsburgh. He replied, “The whole crowd going on with their little towels ya know, they’re not gonna be doing to much of that this Sunday”

One reporter said to Casey, “You’re not afraid to give bulletin board material?” Casey replied “No not at all. No way of hesitation.  I’m going into my third season I gotta make sure everyone knows who I am and knows who our defense is”.

Sounds like Jurrell Casey is confident in the 2013 Tennessee Titans. And chasing down Roethlisberger this week.

Hopefully, he can back it up.
