Tennessee Titans: NFL Draft Prospect Visits and Pro Day Scouting Appearances.

Here’s a list of who the Tennessee Titans have/will be meeting with before the draft. It’s not a complete list, as the Titans are allowed 30 visits and local visits from players such as ones from Vanderbilt do not count against the 30. They’ve got an interesting mix here, leaning mainly towards the defensive side of the ball, as expected.

They have been bringing in the top rated WR’s of the draft, as you can see below. I wouldn’t put too much thought into that. I’d say it’s just the Titans doing their due diligence. Without any further ado…

  • WR Ashlon Jeffery, South Carolina

Also, courtesy of Titansreport.com, is a list of Pro Days that the Titans scouts attended:

Of course this isn’t indicative of a strong interest, but team observations at pro days do show at least some relative interest in a prospect. (Including priority free agency).

So far I’ve confirmed the Titans have been at these Pro Days with likely target prospects or confirmed interviews.

I’ve been looking for this information for a long time and haven’t found it all in one place so I thought I’d collect it and put it all together for other draft hungry people, like myself. Two weeks until the draft! Be sure to keep tuned into Titan Sized as we do our draft coverage. We’re planning to do a three-day draft radio special, recapping picks and talking about their college careers and what we can expect from them on the field.

Two thoughts. First, I find it amazing that we only have one Center lined up for a visit. Thinking there’s no way we draft Konz in the first; Amano might be safe for one more year. Second, our draft approach seems pretty reflective of need, as far as positions they are targeting. See a lot of D-Line, linebacker, safety, and wide receiver.

@JasonPeters  Agreed. I expect a few more center names to emerge as we get closer to the draft, as well as Nick Perry.

Thanks a lot Justin this is very useful. Guys, don’t put to much stock into the visits. Yes it absolutely shows were interested in them, but there are 100′s of other players on the Titans big board that we will only have game film on. Maybe the center they like, whether it be Konz or someone else, showed enough on tape that TN FO is happy and confident he is their guy. Also, up to this point Munch and Mathews have been at Baptists Sports for  every FA Center visit. So maybe they haven’t had the free time to get to see some Center prospects yet.

@chasemaher1 No problem. I was dying for this info so I thought it’d be a good post while I was researching it. I keep updating it when I find additional visits.
