Mount Juliet, TN (April 6, 2012) – On April 10, sports and music celebrities will team up for Middle Tennessee children as competitors play golf with their favorite celebrities and compete for prizes during the sold out 2012 Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament Presented By: PREVOST at Pine Creek Golf Course (1835 Logue Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122). This year’s Co-Hosts Tennessee Titans placekicker #2 Rob Bironas and 2011 ICM “Bluegrass Artist of the Year” The Roys will hit the course with their fellow teammates and artists including Tennessee Titans players Brett Kern, Colin McCarthy and Craig Stevens and artists Troy Gentry (Montgomery Gentry), Dailey & Vincent, Tracy Lawrence, Doyle Lawson and Joe Diffie. This year’s golfers will have the opportunity to win extra prizes and goodies as they hit the links in the name of charity. Highlights include two Hole-In-One contests where golfers will compete for the lyrics to “Devil Went Down to Georgia” hand written by Charlie Daniels himself and a separate $25,000 cash prize courtesy of Blaster Entertainment. Lucky golfers may win a prize that goes down smooth when they participate in the Ball Chip in Challenge for a jar of Tennessee White Whiskey. Not to mention lucky winners will skip the 10 year plus waiting list of whiskey fans already waiting for a taste. Golfers will try to beat the odds when they take their chances for $1,000 at the Vegas Hole courtesy of Dr. Lois Wagstrom. Winners of the Closest to the Pin Challenge will want to flash their pearly whites after their FREE Zoom Teeth Whitening experience courtesy of Dr. Mike Tabor. Golfers can even pick up extra golf balls on the course thanks to Diamond Coaches.

The opportunity for prizes will keep on rolling at the live auction after the last ball has been hit. Auction items include a trip to see Montgomery Gentry in concert thanks to Music City Coach and a guitar signed by the Titans. Golfers may have a second chance to win the “Devil Went Down to Georgia” lyrics hand written by Charlie Daniels at the auction if no one is lucky enough to make a hole-in-one.

“The Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament is fairly new compared to other tournaments in the Nashville, TN area and this year Christmas 4 Kids decided to differentiate ourselves by combining both the sports and music industries unique to the area. For over twenty years, Christmas 4 Kids has been providing children in the Middle Tennessee area with the chance to experience the gift of giving during Christmas. Last year, Christmas 4 Kids was able to provide 450 children in the Middle Tennessee area a ride on a celebrity tour bus, a party with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the chance to buy presents for their friends and family at a local Wal-Mart. Proceeds from the 2012 Celebrity Golf Tournament and other events throughout the year will go to make this a reality again in December 2012.
