3 free agent edge rushers for the Titans.

It’s no secret that the Titans have a major problem in the sack department.

After an anemic performance in 2020, the Titans will almost certainly add a few edge rushers this offseason. The team currently has Harold Landry, Derick Roberson, Wyatt Ray, and Nate Orchard under contract on the edge which means that even if they don’t break the bank they have to sign someone, right?

To Titans fans, it is obvious that the team will need to invest in this position during free agency if they wish to improve their dismal sack numbers in 2020.

Luckily for the Titans, this is a free agent position group with a ton of options. Unfortunately, the Titans along with most other teams do not have as much money available to spend this offseason as they would in a normal year. It would probably be foolish to expect the Titans to land a player like Shaq Barrett or Matthew Judon, but I still expect the team to be in the running for at least one impact player.

After the failed Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley experiments, perhaps Jon Robinson will be hesitant to invest big into this position again. However, I believe those signings indicate that Robinson knows this position group has to improve and he’s open to spending to make it happen.

With that being said, let’s take a look at 3 possibilities for the team in 2021.
