Titans winners and losers

The Tennessee Titans played the Pittsburg Steelers in Week 7 and despite a late rally, they left the field with their first loss of the season.

The Titans lost a close one to the Pittsburg Steelers on Sunday with a final score of 27-23. The game was full of intense moments, and great football on both sides during certain stretches of the game. But, like every game has winners and losers and even a “good” loss deserves criticism.

Let’s look at which Tennessee Titans were winners from Sunday.

A.J. Brown, WR

I think it’s obvious who the biggest winner of Week 7 is for the Titans.

A.J. Brown was electric against a very good Steelers defense and he was a key factor in Titans rally in this game.

Brown has missed a few games due to injury, and even though he has had some big games he still hasn’t performed to the lofty standards we have for him. That changed early in the third quarter when Brown exploded for a 73-yard touchdown that finally gave this TItans offense some life.

Brown was able to show his speed and quickness as he darted down the field with no one near him. Even after the big play, Brown continued to get involved in the offense and he finished with 6 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown.

If he can get completely healthy, I think we will see one of the best receivers in football wearing the two-toned blue.
