The domination of Derrick Henry

I hope when it comes time to pay Derrick Henry, the Titans realize just how special of a back they have. After all, it’s impossible not to know just how great he is because he literally flaunts it in our faces on an almost weekly basis.

Henry is the rare combination of size and speed. He can be a bruiser between the tackles, but he also has the breakaway speed to get around the edge and blow past defenders for long touchdown runs.

He’s got the size and power of a Mack Truck, the speed of a Ferrari, and the balance of a gymnast.

Since Week 14 of last season, no running back in the NFL has more rushing yards than Henry. Adding to that, since the beginning of 2017 no player in the NFL has more touchdown plays of 65 yards or more than Henry’s seven.

In the last two weeks alone, Henry has rushed for 347 yards and four scores, once again reminding us just how easily he can take a game over. And, perhaps the best part of his last two games was the fact that he buried the Jacksonville Jaguars once again.

When the Titans give Henry 15 carries or more in a game during his career, they’re 11-5.

PAY. THE. MAN.
