Are the tea leaves for the Tennessee Titans draft plans right in front of us?

Let’s face it, Jon Robinson is going to make a trade. In fact, if I had to guess how many trades the Tennessee Titans would make between now and the end of the draft, I would probably start the over/under at 2.5.

So, it should be no surprise that a team with a wealth of picks like the Cleveland Browns would be a logical trade target. However, NFL Draft Bites on twitter has has said connected the dots in a way that makes sense for all parties.

So, essentially the Cleveland Browns know that the first pressure point in this draft for quarterbacks is at 6 with the Jets. That is pretty obvious given their situation and with the Chicago Bears signing Mike Glennon to a big deal, maybe they think that he is going to start for at least a year.

Jacksonville won’t take one, and maybe with this iffy QB class they don’t expect the San Francisco 49ers front office to risk taking one early. That assumes that they will opt instead to go for BPA to overhaul a terrible roster.

I think the absolute minimum that the Tennessee Titans would accept in a trade with the Browns is their 12th pick and the Tennessee Titans original pick in the 2nd round that they shipped off last year.

So, running a quick 3-round mock draft through Fanspeak, here is what I ended up with using those picks in a trade that looks increasingly more likely.
