There’s only so much news and analysis that we can disseminate to the readers on TitanSized. There are always noteworthy tidbits/nuggets of information about the Titans that don’t make it into our posts but should be noted. This is why we try to bring those bits of information at the end of the week in this article.

Here’s what you may have missed.

Would not mind having Jordy Nelson on this team. We’ve missed on so many big-bodied receivers in the past. Nelson would fit this offense so well. A man can dream.

Jared Cook being out puts a huge damper on this game. This was supposed to be the Cook revenge game where he goes off against his former team. He probably would have had his best game at LP Field/Nissan Stadium this Sunday too, considering the Titans can’t cover the tight end position and Cook’s career highs in this stadium are, I’m assuming, five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Starks will be very limited, meaning Ty Montgomery will get most of the carries in their backfield. That said, the Packers will be throwing all afternoon. They’ll be able to throw more effectively with Randall Cobb rounding back into health, no longer drawing an injury tag. Cobb probably won’t be held back, but could be a bit rusty. Clay Matthews and Damarious Randall being out are a big plus for the Titans passing offense. They should be able to move the ball through the air. But if they choose to attack on the ground, the Titans will have Henry back after a calf strain sidelined him last week.
