It is game day for the Tennessee Titans and it is time to look at what may or may not happen tonight. Some notes are coming out now that everyone should know before the game.

Here are some big things to take note of for tonight.

DGB M.I.A?

Dorial Green-Beckham is not expected to play tonight according to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report. That would frankly suck for Tennessee Titans fans because DGB has been fun to watch and everyone was hoping that this was the week that he and Marcus Mariota played significant snaps together.

  • Will Justin Hunter be a big part of tonight?

With DGB out, then this team could be ready to see if Justin Hunter’s big camp can translate on to the field. With Hunter’s legal struggles apparently not being as big of a deal as we originally thought, maybe Ken Whisenhunt will try to see just how much he can rely on Hunter during the season.

Marcus Mariota hasn’t done a lot of deep passing this preseason, maybe if Justin Hunter plays that changes.

    David Cobb out.

The last big note from today is the realization that David Cobb will not play tonight. Cobb has an injured calf according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessee Titans. This means that if Bishop Sankey and Antonio Andrews really are the first and second option in the running game, then this is the time to prove that they can carry a team against a tough defense.

The last thing the Tennessee Titans want is Tamba Hali and Justin Houston pinning their ears back and rushing full speed at Marcus Mariota. It is a shame that he missed this game, but hopefully he heals up and gets back in the mix for Week 1, the Tennessee Titans really like what he brings to the table.
