The NFL suspended New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for four games at the start of the 2015 season on Monday, but it will not have an impact on the Tennessee Titans. The Titans don’t face the Super Bowl champs until Week 15, on December 20th. This story had dominated the world of sports for over a week, and the big winners are fans who are ready to move on.

NFL suspends Tom Brady, hammers Patriots for Deflategate – Tom Pelissero The Tennesseean

"The league also fined the Patriots $1 million and docked them two draft picks — a first-rounder in 2016 and a fourth-rounder in 2017 — for violating the playing rules “and the failure to cooperate in the subsequent investigation” co-led by attorney Ted Wells.Brady was suspended “for conduct detrimental to the integrity of the NFL” after a 243-page report released last week by Wells found it more probable than not that Brady “was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities” by two low-level team employees that led to the Patriots using underinflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game."

Should the Tennessee Titans trade Zach Mettenberger? Will Lomas Music City Miracles

"The Tennessee Titans are in an odd, but good position in terms of quarterback depth right now. Currently, they have Marcus Mariota (the obvious starter),Charlie Whitehurst (Ken Whisenhunt’s guy) and Zach Mettenberger. While he seems to have backed off of his initial “trade me” reaction, how much sense does Zach Mettenberger make for the Tennessee Titans offense?"

Taylor Lewan assesses Titans’ offensive line – Paul Kuharsky ESPN Tennessee Titans Reporter

"Second-year left tackle Taylor Lewan wants to lead the offensive line, and he knows that starts with blocking technique, writes Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. On last year’s run game: “It was terrible. I would never put that on the backs. … They have to be put in the right place. If they are having to make guys miss in the backfield, you are not going to have a great running game. We have to have a bond and have a cohesive unit. When we do that, that’s when it’s their turn. … We have to do a better job, all five of us. We definitely don’t want to be the weak link.”Ken Whisenhunt is talking about adjusting his offense for Marcus Mariota’s strength, and it could be a case of evolve or die, says David Climer of The Tennessean."
