"Paul Kuharsky:Shonn Greene is due $3.25 million this year and would leave behind only $833,000 in dead money. There is no reason to do anything now. If he plays as he has in camp, and Antonio Andrews shows well, I think Andrews will win the spot and the Titans will cut Greene. Levitre is due a $6.5 million base, which is way high for how he has performed, for sure. But he has $6.3 million of his signing bonuses left to be prorated over three more years. So keep him and it costs $6.3 million in cash and $8.6 million in cap dollars. Cut him and you save the base salary of $6.5 million, but only save $2.3 million cap dollars. Ideally you’d pay less. But before you have a legitimate alternative, it’s difficult to make that approach."
