Tennessee Titans Twitter Talk: Titans Land 30th in Recent Power Rankings

Is it too soon to talk about power rankings?

#Titans ranked 30th in NFL preseason power rating

Regardless, Pro Football Talk has released its rankings, and the Titans are in 30th place heading into the preseason. Like it or not, the sports resource considers Tennessee to be “solid” yet “uninteresting” once again heading into the fall.

It’s no secret that quarterback Jake Locker has much to prove as the regular season looms, coming off of injury. However, he isn’t the only one who will be held accountable if the team doesn’t make it to the postseason (again). There are high expectations for new head coach Ken Whisenhunt, as well as young players including Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter.

The Titans will also have to prove that they can fill the voids left by Chris Johnson and Alterraun Verner. They have made few moves to address these shortcomings.

While the preseason is still far away, it’s never too soon to be thinking about football, but power rankings? That is up for fans to decide.
