It’s 2014 NFL Draft Day…finally. People are submitting their final mock drafts. Is this the season when an expert completes the illustrious 0-for-32 mock draft without intentionally trying to sabotage the entire process?
At least six of the NFL.com mock-draft panel will have incorrect selections when the Tennessee Titans make the No. 11 pick (LINK). Barring anymore updates from this point forward (10:57 AM CT), here are 10 different projections for whom the Titans will take. This includes seven different players, only one player who was taken more than twice.
Daniel Jeremiah (May 8): Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
Mike Mayock (May 7): Blake Bortles, QB, UCF
Charlie Casserly (May 7): Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
Matt Smith (May 7): Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Chase Goodbread (May 7): Blake Bortles, QB, UCF
Mike Huguenin (May 7): Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
Bryan Fischer (May 7): Anthony Barr, CB, UCLA
Charles Davis (May 6): Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
Bucky Brooks (May 1): Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Brian Baldinger (April 24): Blake Bortles, QB, UCF
This list includes quarterbacks, cornerbacks, a linebacker, and tight end. With 30-percent of the selections, it appears as though Bortles is the favorite to get taken at No. 11. The Titans could ruin everyone’s plans with a trade-down to re-acquire the mid-rounder that was sacrificed during last season’s Justin Hunter transaction. That may open up more possibilities which would include (but aren’t limited to) C.J. Mosley, Ra’Shede Hageman, Timmy Jernigan and Bradley Roby.
Who are you hoping the Titans target? Is there anyone you specifically don’t want? Any specific position? Discuss in the comments or social media.
