If you’re a big enough football fan to visit this website, then you’re likely excited over this tweet.
Last week, the NFL regular season schedule for 2014-15 was released. Tickets went on sale for individual Tennessee Titans games. The preseason doesn’t kick off for the Titans until August 9 at LP Field. Fans are already yearning for that fresh smell of grass, competitive spirit and road to redemption after a losing season.
Of the opponents the Titans will face, matchups against the Indianapolis Colts and the NFC East will likely be the trickiest. However, Tennessee is second-to-last on the “Strength of Schedule” list, which has to give fans some hope after last year. Furthermore, the Titans will need all the help they can get now that players like Chris Johnson and Alterraun Verner have departed.
On that note, mark Dec. 14 down on your calendar — Johnson will be back in Tennessee to try to show the Titans what they’re missing without him. While it’s only April, we can dream for brighter days, warmer weather and a season that extends past 17 weeks.
