And there goes some untapped potential.
Not everyone was a fan of Damian Williams while he was with the Tennessee Titans, but it’s hard to ignore some of the grabs he made while he was with the team – especially when other wide outs were unavailable or unwilling to step up to the plate. With the Titans, Williams racked up 1,313 yards. He only had five touchdowns, but given he wasn’t a starter, could you have asked for more?
Williams has been in the league for four years now. It became increasingly apparent that he wasn’t going to bud and show his talent while playing for Tennessee. However, it shouldn’t be surprising if he makes headlines while in Miami — a team where he could make some noise as a go-to wide receiver.
And so, another member of the offense says goodbye to the Titans. The team will undoubtedly need to do a little more work this offseason to ensure that quarterback Jake Locker has the weapons he needs to take Tennessee into the playoffs — and maybe the Super Bowl.
