Tennessee Titans Preseason Schedule: Packers, Saints, Falcons, Vikings

Not a bad 2014 Tennessee Titans preseason schedule. All four contests come against NFC competition. The Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints were playoff teams from one season ago. The Packers, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings were playoff teams from two seasons ago.

One thing that stands out is the preseason cornerback competition. Barring draft picks, Coty Sensabaugh and Blidi Wreh-Wilson appear like the top two candidates to compete for the vacant No. 2 cornerback opening. This vacancy happened after Alterraun Verner departed via free agency. The first three quarterbacks whom they’ll face: Aaron Rodgers (maybe for one series), Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. If the Vikings draft a quarterback, then there’s a decent chance that they’ll face him in his first semi-significant action.

All four preseason games will televise on WKRN (Nashville-2). According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, the Titans vs Vikings game is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 28.

I’m always glad to see Green Bay visit Nashville. My two favorite teams. Great way for me to start the season. Speaking of “start the season,” that comes in four month. Looking forward to it.
