We’ve reached pick No. 12. This selection belongs to the New York Giants
It’s easy to think that the Giants feel the most confident among 7-9 teams who are hoping for a 2014 turnaround. After starting last season with six consecutive losses, the Giants rallied to win seven of their last 10 games. They accomplished this in spite of Eli Manning tossing 27 interceptions. Injuries, an unsettled running back situation, and a persistent inability to upend playoff-caliber teams kept this team away from ever having a legitimate chance to compete for the NFC East title.
What will the Giants address? Tight end, offensive tackle, linebacker and any type of pass-rush specialist along the defensive line would help get this team back to its Super Bowl-contending ways. No matter how this draft unfolds, the Giants will have an opportunity to find someone who can make an immediate contribution during this rookie season.
It’s time to examine who the Giants will select at No. 12.
