Were you sad to see Gregg Williams go?
There were many people who hoped that Williams would stick around when the Tennessee Titans cleaned house this offseason. Now, Williams is happily alongside former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher in St. Louis, trying to do some damage in the NFC.
As for the Titans, they’ll look ahead with their new coaching staff to what they assume to be a brighter future. Ken Whisenhunt has been named the head coach in Tennessee, and Ray Horton will be taking Williams’ place as the defensive coordinator. Jason Michael was named the offensive coordinator, and Nate Kaczor was given the honor of special teams coach.
So what do you need to know about this new group?
They’re fresh faces, all hoping to make a difference in the organization. There’s no telling who will still be around after the 2014-15 NFL season (in terms of both coaches and players). But one thing is for certain – spring is just around the corner. It’s time to see if these planted seeds yield a hefty crop come training camp.
