Tennessee Titans: 5 Players Who Could Become Cap Casualties

Parting ways with Stewart is a no-brainer. Stewart turns 32 years old in Aug. 2014. Last season, Stewart was battling injuries and he was clearly on the decline. Many expert mock drafters have this team using a first-round pick on someone who can replace Stewart. Keeping a backup offensive tackle at $6.4 million? That makes no sense.

Kuharsky expects “cut.” So do I.

Should Tennessee Titans Keep David Stewart in 2014?

If anything, nate washington needs to go! Id rather keep kenny britt over nate washington. But thats not why i bring this up. Am i the ONLY person whos ever seen michael preston play? The guy is a 6’4 inch beast! Im getting tired of him being on the practice squad while people like nate washington sits no.2 or 1 on the depth chart. Get washington out of town and get preston into the everyday line up!

Yea if Preston doesn’t get a roster spot following this year’s training camp, he never will…at least here. Kevin Walter, Kenny Britt and Damian Williams are all FAs. At least two of them are gone. There’s NO reason whatsoever as to why he doesn’t have a decent spot on the WR depth chart unless he just has a terrible training camp or gets injured.

If they cut all 5 that Kuharskey mentioned today, I’d be pleased. Wouldn’t hate seeing Nate Washington and possibly Wimbley brought back on cheap deals later though.
