Last month, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean published a list of expiring contracts for the Tennessee Titans. In Mar. 2014, these players are scheduled to become free agents:

Jackie Battle (RB)
Kenny Britt (WR)
Antonio Johnson (DL)
Marc Mariani (WR)
Kevin Matthews (OL)
Mike Otto (OL)
Ropati Pitoitua (DE)
Bernard Pollard (S)
Rusty Smith (QB)
Chris Spencer (OL)
Kurt Taufa’Asau (DL)
Rob Turner (OL)
Alterraun Verner (CB)
Kevin Walter (WR)
Leon Washington (RB/KR/PR)
Damian Williams (WR)

Taufa’Asau has a strikethrough because he joined the Indianapolis Colts practice squad on Jan. 7.

This leaves 15 players who have uncertain statuses with the franchise. Some of these players will search out a big payday. Some of them may return and try to win another 53-man roster spot during 2014 training camp. Some of them will learn that their NFL dreams are coming to an abrupt end.

The Titans have their coaching staff in place. Which players are good fits for Ken Whisenhunt‘s offense or Ray Horton‘s defense? Who has the best chance of returning as anything more than training camp fodder next July and August?
