Tennessee Titans Staff Additions: Giff Smith, Bob Bostad

Another pair of quality signings and veteran coaches who’ve had success at the NFL and collegiate football level. Giff Smith receives some credit for the development of Buffalo Bills defensive linemen Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus.

Bob Bostad was a big part for why the University of Wisconsin has become known as having some of the best and most NFL-ready offensive linemen. From Paul Kuharsky at ESPN, these were some of his best projects during his six-seasons at Wisconsin:

Joe Thomas, Kraig Urbik, Marcus Coleman, John Moffitt, Gabe Carimi, Kevin Zeitler, John Oglesby, Travis Frederick and Peter Konz all made the first- or second-team All Big Ten while Bostand coached them.

The Titans will have two sophomores (Chance Warmack, Brian Schwenke) and possibly a rookie right tackle who’ll need development. Bostad has a fantastic resume at developing young players. Can he get the most out of young players at the NFL level?
