Who are Tennessee Titans enthusiasts interested in as the new head coach for the 2014-15 NFL season?

Ken Whisenhunt received 21.1 percent of the votes. He was the second-leading candidate, only trailing Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. According to reports that are just breaking, it appears like he’ll get the gig:

Whisenhunt is credited for the development of Ben Roethlisberger and the resurrection of careers for Kurt Warner and Philip Rivers. Whisenhunt coached the 2008 Arizona Cardinals to a Super Bowl appearance.

The Titans hired someone with a proven track record as a successful head coach—as long as he has his quarterback. Not many (if any) coaches would’ve succeeded with Kevin Kolb, John Skelton and some of the other post-Warner names. Whether Jake Locker gets a chance as the starter for this upcoming season…anyone’s guess at this point.

More on the reported Whisenhunt hiring as news comes out.
