Week 12 was one of those awkward weeks where I performed better on spreads than straight pick’em. There were plenty of medium and large-sized underdogs who covered their lines. Some of them won outright. The biggest pests were divisional rivalries. Teams who covered included the Falcons (vs Saints), Vikings (vs Packers), Chargers (vs Chiefs), Jaguars (vs Texans) and Cowboys (vs Texans).
What’s in store for Week 13? The schedule starts with three Thanksgiving Day games. I’m feeling upset-happy again. Here are some NFL picks against the spread for Week 13 games during the 2013-14 NFL season. Spread winners with (- or +) next to team name. Straight winners listed at end of each game.
