Week 10 Preview
Week 10’s matchup between the Titans and Jaguars may have some Jaguars fans feeling a bit encouraged following an 0-8 start. For the last two seasons, the Jaguars have split the regular-season series with Tennessee. They’ve had two weeks to refocus and prepare for their familiar divisional foe.
With a 4-4 record, the Titans are trying to stay in the AFC South race with the Indianapolis Colts (6-2). On Nov. 14, the Titans have a Thursday Night Football showdown with that team. Is there any chance that Tennessee could overlook a team who’s had arguably the worst opening eight-game stretch in NFL history? The Jaguars have yet to keep a game within single digits.
Against the St. Louis Rams, Chris Johnson had one of his best games of the past few seasons. He had 23 carries for 150 yards with two touchdowns. The Titans would love to see him continue that trend against the NFL’s worst run defense. The Jaguars allow more than 160 rushing yards per game. That’s almost 30 more than anyone else.
Expect perfect November weather when these two teams meet.
